Hadiye Zaman Shah Sufi Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Abdul Jabbar (Rah.)

Hazrat Shah Sufi Maulana Muhammad Abdul Jabbar (Rah.) has been the President of Anjuman-e Ittehad Bangladesh since 1980. Following the footsteps of his Pir-Murshids, this great saint relentlessly devoted himself to the propagation of the Shari'ah and Tariqat. In fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him by Murshid-e Barhak, he devoted his whole strength and life to the purpose of formulating, adopting and implementing various service-oriented plans. He spread various mahfils and charitable organizations all over Bangladesh for the nafs and chafaye kulub in Tajkabiya through Tarikaye Aliaye Kaderiya. He established the branches of Anjuman-e Ittehad Bangladesh at home and abroad. He also founded 60 mosques, 15 orphanages, 10 madrasahs and hifzkhanas, research institutes, charitable clinics, hospitals throughout the country. The actual outcome of his education movement was the International Islamic University Chittagong. The introduction of an interest-free banking system was the country's largest financial institution at the private level, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.
